Funambol – Open Source Mobile Push Email at 3GSM
Funambol is presenting its Mobile Push Email Client at 3GSM in Barcelona (Feb 12-15).
Since I’ve been working on this for the past months I’m a bit biased but hey, it really rocks.
You’re out of office, and your RAZR vibrates… but it’s not SMS… it’s EMAIL… you forward one email to your collegues, flag one important message and reply to your boss.
When you’ll be back at your desk, on your pc you’ll find the messages marked as read, the forwarded one with the forward arrow, the replied one with the reply arrow, and the flagged one marked in red.
And you don’t need a Blackberry to do this: you can use it on your phone, and it’s Open Source.
Here’s the official press release, with more details about our portal and our support for OpenMoko.

I like the syncrocity between my email client and phone. ALways annoys me to have it push to my phone and have to go back to the client and unmark all the ones I’ve already read.

Всегда раздражает меня, чтобы он нажать на мой телефон и, чтобы вернуться к клиенту и снять все те, которые я уже читал.
